WHEN DO FEES HAVE TO BE PAID?

  • Fees are paid on the first lesson of every month, with a hard copy of receipt given to the payee stating the subject(s) and respective number of lessons paid for. Only cheques or cash are accepted.

For example, if there are 5 Wednesdays this month, 5 lessons will be charged

  • Cheques are to be made payable to “Jaycee Tuition Centre”.

  • A one-time registration fee of $20 and a yearly material fee of $40 per subject (i.e. POA, A Math, E Math) have to be made on the very first payment.

HOW IS ATTENDANCE BEING TRACKED?

  • Students are to sign their attendance on our individual attendance sheets after their respective lessons. Students will get to see their attendance and are encouraged to account for their own attendance too.

  • Parents and students are allowed access to the attendance sheet for transparency purposes should they wish to at the centre.

  • *IN LIGHT OF COVID-19, ONLINE CLASSES WIL BE TRACKED VIA ONLINE PLATFORM

WHAT HAPPENS IF I/MY CHILD CANNOT MAKE IT FOR A LESSON?

  • The centre must be informed at least 3 days in advance in order to get a make-up lesson.

  • If feeling unwell before a lesson, a medical certification or a form of authentication must be submitted the following lesson in order to receive a make-up lesson.

  • If we are not informed beforehand and the student is absent without any valid reason, he/she will be charged for that particular lesson as deemed to have attended it and no make-up will be given

  • We maintain a strict policy towards attendance so as to respect both tutors and other fellow students who have put in their time and effort to make it down.

  • *Make up lessons may be done on our online platform

HOW SMALL ARE WE TALKING ABOUT WHEN WE SAY OUR CLASSES ARE MAINTAINED AT A SMALL NUMBER?

  • Each of our classes are kept at 7-8 students per class.
